'HLF announces that the successful Parks for People programme will continue in a new three year programmed from October 2008 to Oct 20012 with £20 million to be awarded nationally each year. The process has been radically simplified with a simpler yes/ no decision being taken at an earlier stage in the bidding process and then subsequent more detailed information supplied at the Stage 2 stage. The outcomes and elements of the bid that Chris Burnett Associates advise on, namely Conservation Management Plans, (CMP) Audience Development Plans,(ADP) Training Plans and Business plans will remain an important of Stage 2 and can be grant aided as part of new Project Development Grants.

CBA, who have submitted CMP and ADP s for four local authority owned parks in the north west in 2007/8 will continue to provide advice to all interested parties who wish take part in this latest HLF funded initiative.'
